We took part in the Business Design Grand Prix Onsen held in Beppu, Oita, on 3 December 2022.
About the Business Design Grand Prix Onsen
A session-based grand prix in which students and founders cross the usual lines to understand each other and think things through together.
It is in two parts. In the first, founders judge business ideas from students.
In the second the roles reverse, and students judge the companies’ visions.
By swapping who judges, students and founders stand in the same position, understand each other better, and look together for what an ideal way of working might be.

Three venture founders, including a professional marketer, judge business models devised by students.
The aim is to sharpen each plan further and to back the students towards making it work.
Second bath
Students judge companies
Which company do you believe in? Company vision category
Founders of three venture companies from Tokyo and Osaka present their vision.
Founders listen to students about to enter the workforce, put their own thinking up for debate, and look for a way towards the company and the society people genuinely want to work in.
