Background
Our CEO Imamura lectures at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, iU and the University of Tsukuba, and we started this to bring marketing to more people in business.
A comment from our CEO Imamura
English and accounting have long been seen as fundamentals for anyone in business.
In recent years programming has joined them.
As DX advances, I believe marketing deserves to be counted among those fundamentals, which is what led to this audio programme.
While running a marketing company, I lecture on marketing concepts and technique at a range of universities and local authorities.
I hope that people beyond those specific universities and authorities will hear the examples and the thinking, and that it will help with developing people as the population ages.
A comment from Mr Ninomiya
I have worked in digital media and web design for about ten years, and one problem has always been how to get what you have made in front of people.
I had been watching Imamura’s work in the staffing industry from a distance for several years, interested in how he was building awareness in a saturated market.
With that in mind, I met Imamura of NowVillage about a year ago.
As we talked I learned that he had grown the company he founded through digital marketing, and then started a company specialising in supporting others in digital marketing.
I came to feel strongly that if more people could hear about that experience it would help digital marketing culture in Japan grow, and I suggested turning it into an internet radio programme.
The theme is deepening the knowledge and understanding of digital marketing among people in business
There are plenty of books and online content about digital marketing, but I wanted it delivered in the voice of someone who has actually made it work.
I hope to cover ground that students, younger people in business and those running companies can all take something from.
We hope you will listen.
